The mission of the Connecticut Optics and Photonics Association (CTOPA) is to promote the growth of the optics industry in Connecticut.  

 CTOPA's Objectives:

• Marketing:
  • To globally market the Connecticut optics and photonics industry.

• Networking:
  • To facilitate communication among members and with other organizations.

• Strategic Partnering:
  • To facilitate opportunities for strategic partnering.  Bringing new business opportunities to all of Connecticut.

• Education:
  • To increase awareness of optic based careers within Connecticut and to facilitate optic literacy.

• Representation:
  • To represent CTOPA's business interests.

CTOPA will create a more rewarding environment for the optics and photonics industry in Connecticut, by uniting key elements that drive our economy, which include, but not limited to, government, education, private investment and business friendly groups.
